Shoot - Edit - Print Workshop
Shoot - Edit - Print Workshop
Hi, you have landed on my Shoot - Edit - Print Workshop page. I’d like to say thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you soon on the workshop.
I have developed this workshop to give you the thrill of photographing a beautiful location and then taking your images back to the studio and editing them to print. With image sharing sites like Instagram and Facebook many have lost the feeling of seeing their work in printed form.
Over 6 to 6 1/2hr we head out on location to a beautiful Mornington Peninsula location and take a bunch of photos. Once we have some great shots, we then head back to my Photography Studio in Rosebud, where we will run though editing photos in Adobe Lightroom classic and some basic fine adjustments in Adobe Photoshop.
You then choose two or three of your FAV images from the day and have them printed before your eyes on my Canon IPF PRO 2100 Printer, Canons flagship Fine Art printer.
During the workshop:
Out on location while photographing we discuss composition for obtaining striking images
Out on location we can use Athabasca Filters to create dreamy long exposures plus any other photos available at the location
Your camera, your computer and how that relates to getting the best printed image
Then back in the Studio:
Refine editing techniques in Adobe Lightroom Classic
Bringing your images from Adobe Lightroom Classic to Adobe Photoshop
Resizing
Cropping to size
Ratios
Adding paper white borders or adding a traditional matt board
Crop lines
Learn about papers and canvases
ICC Profiles (I keep it basic, so you understand the process of how a Pro studio prints).
Monitors, tablets, phones and how your images will vary
Your choice to take home 1x A2 or 2x A3 prints on beautiful photographic paper that you have edited during the workshop.
